Museums and exhibitions make an important contribution to cultural life in Gütersloh and the region.
Here are just a few suggestions:

S Gallery

The S Gallery at the main branch of the Sparkasse bank

( at Konrad Adenauer Platz, just a few minutes walk from the hotel ) holds exhibitions from a variety of international
and local artists at regular intervals. Admission is free.

Gütersloh City Museum

The history of Gütersloh and the surrounding area is presented at the Gütersloh City Museum. Regular special 
exhibitions offer local people and visitors an insight into the way our ancestors lived.

Miele Museum

The museum presents the group and the product lines from 1899 until the present day. For example visitors can
see what the first drafts for the washing machine or the car designed by Miele looked like.

Theater

The new Gütersloh theater with around 530 seats is due to open in March 2010. Please contact the hotel directly
for more information and the current program.

Gerry Weber

The Gerry Weber Stadium is just 20 km away. It is an important venue for various sporting events ( tennis, volleyball,
handball, boxing ) as well as musical events. Stars including Eros Ramazotti ( March 2010 ), Andrea Berg
( February 2010 ), PUR ( November 2009 ) and Atze Schröder ( December 2010 ) will delight up to 13,000 visitors.
